I believe the best homes reflect the people who live in them — their lives, their histories and the things they love.
I start by getting under the skin of how you live, what matters to you and how your needs might change over time. Sometimes that means questioning the original brief to uncover what's really needed. Other times it's finding the perfect place for a treasured piece of furniture or bringing together things you've collected over a lifetime with something new.
I'm drawn to colour, pattern and the mix of old and contemporary. I particularly love period homes, celebrating their original features while making them work beautifully for modern life. I want to create rooms that feel layered, welcoming and unmistakably yours.
The result is a home that tells your story, rather than mine.

My love of interiors started early. I grew up watching my father lovingly restore our Queen Anne house in Yorkshire, accompanying him to salvage yards in search of brass taps and visiting the building site as the work progressed. I was fascinated by the stories the house held, from the wig-powdering cupboard to the Delft tiles around the fireplaces.
That fascination stayed with me through renovating my own London Victorian terrace and eventually deciding to turn a lifelong passion into a profession. I completed the Certificate in Residential Interior Design at KLC School of Design before establishing Studio Hamzic.

Before becoming an interior designer, I spent 20 years leading complex projects, most recently at Director level in the charity sector. That experience shapes how I work today: listening carefully, asking the right questions, managing budgets responsibly and working collaboratively with specialists.
I bring warmth, honesty and practical thinking to every project, helping you make confident decisions and creating a home that feels entirely your own.
